Just when I thought it was over...

#1 Postby therock1811 » Tue Aug 31, 2004 3:42 pm

it's not. Nathalie and I have now had a total communications breakdown. We were simply talking about what we were doing last night and she just stopped responding to my messages... So I guess that's it. It's over for me...as far as I'm concerned, we're done.

I know how it is. Luke and Steph are still going out, Luke hates me along with Steph's friends, and they are both trying to stop me and her from being friends.

Luke must not realize yet that Steph was your girlfriend first. Luke belongs in a category known as a relationship wrecker!

Yeah well the difference this time is no one's stopping us from a friendship at this point but her...and you know what? It doesn't really matter anymore...because I'm done crying, and agonizing...she's gonna have to accept that she's made this choice...I didn't, I still wanted a friendship...but I don't have that...

I'm 100% agreed with Eric here...he does belong in just that category, and one other that I won't even mention... :grrr:

Some girls are like that Jeremy, this is life... bad things happen to the best of us.

I know Luke knew she was taken, but he still did what he did, and right now we're arguing back and forth. I believe he wants to fight me, but I'm not sure. He only lives 2 blocks from me. Steph told him once to stop, he didn't, so she told him yesterday to stop. After that (and I don't think he WILL stop), she said 3rd times the charm and she's gonna get rid of him, because she doesn't want someone running her life.

David and Jeremy - you're both still in that teen stage or almost post-teen stage. It's such a hard time for serious relationships! That's why I'm so glad both my daughters haven't started dating. Well, we're holding Laura back until she's 16, like we did Nina. Both are into just going out with friends and having fun. Dating can come later. You don't know how much of a relief that is for me! I got serious with my ex-husband in HS, gave up 2 years to our relationship. Silly, stupid, dumb, whatever you want to call it. Can't get those years back either. Everyone has regrets in life and this is one of mine. I think my daughters have taken my advice well - don't get serious in HS. That would be my advice to both of you. And now you're starting college Jeremy. Hopefully you'll notice more mature behavior in college. Nina's hoping for that in the worse way - she is so sick of HS cliques, seeing the same people she's seen since grade school. She wants to start college RIGHT NOW. So I have a senior on my hands that has senioritis big time!

Well like I said last night, I'm done crying about it, yeah she ripped my heart out this week. I say whoop-de-do. I don't care what she does from here...she ever tries to contact me I will just ignore her.
