ETA 18 z directly over South FL

#1 Postby Vortex » Tue Aug 31, 2004 5:28 pm

Models are coming into more agreement this afternoon of a serious Huricane threat from Frances. Nogaps, Euro for globals, the Lbar from the hurricane models and now the ETA a short range model....I'm increasing concerned that Southern florida is going to be dealing with a very serious Hurricane.

18Z GFS has shifted south w/ a hit over e-central FL (between Vero B and Melbourne) w/ a slow drift NNW. It is much slower than the Eta however.

Hokie - that'd be a good H name to add to the list!
