Tape or not to Tape, that is the question.

I have read do not tape because the window will break most of the time.

I was only going to tape to keep the glass from shattering inside, would that help or just don't tape??

I never tape. Just make sure that your boarding is secured. Tape will not do much good in Cat. 4 or 5 winds or even less sometimes.
