Already he wants to go to his area where he will be covering the landfall. But the question is where the landfall exactly will be.

My guess is Jimmy wants to party on South Beach and hoping for a Miami landfall. Just kidding Jim. But we don't want to see you in our neck of the woods. No offense.

I watched him too. I think he gets cabin fever sitting in a studio. My husband says that he's the weather version of a war reporter!

Well, I've called him the Weather Grim Reaper. When he shows up in your town, it's time to go.

Good lord. I just pictured him in a black hooded robe and a big scythe, walking down and pointing a big bony finger towards the storm.

:(

It's nice to see TWC fired up for a change. The old TWC pros -- like Cantore -- are OK, it's some of the newer ones who don't seem to have a clue sometimes.

Nah, I didn't mean it that literally. Geez! I don't want to put the hood on him either. I like Jim and his Gore-Tex jacket. It's just that when he goes somewhere, it's not to admire the abundant sunshine and white, sandy beaches.

Do you think they call her J Lo to her face? I've been wondering about that.

"I watched him too. I think he gets cabin fever sitting in a studio. My husband says that he's the weather version of a war reporter!"

Take it from a real war reporter, that's not too far off the mark.

I'm as nervous for this one as I was the last time I went back to iraq.

Nothing like trying to get yourself in the way of what is essentially a F2-3 tornado that's 60-100 miles across.

Here we go again....

But to all and everyone in potential landfall......"Survive this day, after this it's all down hill."

That's the mantra I've chanted from the Balkans to Bagahdad. No matter how bad it gets, it eventually passes.

Take care all and dig in.
