Any past data 2 major canes haved hit Floridas both coasts?

The question I am asking is about in a season if two major canes haved made landfall on both coasts of Florida.

I think this has not happened before but maybe in past centuries it happened.

Best I can come up with quick is 1950 -- if the Unisys archives are accurate, Easy hit the west coast as a 3 and King dropped to a 2 just before hitting the southeast coast. Couldn't find a 3 on both sides of the state in the 20th century.

It happened in 1950.

Hurricane Easy struck the west coast as a Category 3. Hurricane King struck the east coast as a Category 3.

Thanks to both for the answer and we can add 2004 to that stat unless it deviates from Florida.
