Cuts across Florida and makes a second landfall near me( MObile, AL). that is the third model on 00Z to enter Gulf and make second landfall.

If SFL gets hit then a second Gulf landfall is almost assured. Dang it. This is one of those time where I wish I was oblivious.

Actually, it is directly over us. Mobile is 30.7 north, and 88.3 west. Maybe just a TAD north of us(about 20 miles)

Yes I remember Elena. they had to evacuate the beaches two mdifferent times on Labor Day weekend. I was A nervous wreck at 14 Years old. I had lived through Frederic when I was 8, so I knew what was coming.

I believe the 0z Nogaps run has a similar path. Cutting across cent Fl and then wnw-ward towards Mobile. Given the orientation of the coastline in relation to possible movement coastal flooding would be devastating along the panhandle coastline into AL.

That looks similar to the Canadian that moves NW then turns inland along 30N. Looks like it will move up the coast and at some point High to the North will move it inland as the NHC track shows!

I am with you LAwxrgal, Pascagoula is just 28 miles from Mobile, but on the west side...no more east sides of a storm please!
