The sharks are doing strange things on the Gulf Coast... almost like they know something is coming. There is a story this week from Gulf Shores Alabama (FL/AL state line) about a huge number of sharks suddenly showing up and hanging around. Weird stuff...
Well a 12-foot alligator emerged from the Atlantic today somewhere in Brevard county. It started walking toward a couple of sunbathers who promptly called Game & Fish who promptly "terminated" the beast.
No, not really. The big snakes eat all the small snakes, then the alligators eat the big snakes, then the crocodiles eat the alligators. It's usually not a problem.
There were 89 sharks sighted today off of the AL. waters from the FL. line to Little Lagoon. Over 60 of those were in one pod in front of Gulf State Park. These sharks all are within 100yds of the beack and they're big ones. They're following these record numbers of bait fish running along the shore.
And yes it is unusual to see that many. Today was a record setting number, second one this week. The normal number is 6.

Animals have a tendency to sense disaster. I guess it's part and parcel of living in the wild. Also watch the behavior of your domesticated animals too such as your dog or cat.

I'd watch our dog but if I went by her behavior only I think we were always under the gun of a cat 5. She's SO neurotic! All kidding aside, I have been watching for a change in her behavior because I fully believe that animals can sense these things.
My mama told me the squirrels were acting nuts yesterday. She thought they were rabid. I think its just the weather. We had a terrible thunderstorm last night. I've lived in Tampa all my life and the cloud to ground lightning was horrendous.
