Miami, Ft. Lauderdale, West Palm?
Right now, with the current west movement, I think Miami is the bullseye. We'll see a track through Palm Beach that will slowly but surely get shifted more south.
The thing is Frances is no compact storm like Andrew was. If this hits Dade County as a Cat 5 and a 20+ mile eye, we will see unimaginable destruction.
Basically think of Hurricane Andrew's damage and multiply the scale by like 10.
If we have a South Florida Lanfall - where in South Florida?

calm down. building codes are much tighter and people will be more prepared. chances of a cat 5 are remote at best but it can happen.
