While Frances churns, a POWERFUL wave just emerged Africa...

This system is very powerful. It has a very impressive LLC and it has thunderstorms associated with it. In fact, latest satellite images indicate a tropical depression may be forming near 10N 20W.

This system will definitely be watched as atmospheric conditions are very favorable to develop into a tropical depression or tropical storm over the next few days. It might even have a potential impact on the islands down the road with the current steering pattern.

Everyone stay tuned as we just entered the most active time of the year...

FOR THE NORTH ATLANTIC...CARIBBEAN SEA AND THE GULF OF MEXICO...

THE NATIONAL HURRICANE CENTER IS ISSUING ADVISORIES ON DANGEROUS
HURRICANE FRANCES...CENTERED ABOUT 735 MILES EAST-SOUTHEAST OF THE
FLORIDA EAST COAST.

AN AREA OF DISTURBED WEATHER ASSOCIATED WITH A TROPICAL WAVE IS
LOCATED ABOUT 700 MILES WEST-NORTHWEST OF THE CAPE VERDE ISLANDS
AND IS MOVING WEST-NORTHWESTWARD NEAR 15 MPH. DEVELOPMENT...IF
ANY...WILL LIKELY BE SLOW DUE TO SOMEWHAT UNFAVORABLE UPPER-LEVEL
WINDS.

ANOTHER TROPICAL WAVE IS LOCATED SEVERAL HUNDRED MILES
SOUTH-SOUTHEAST OF THE CAPE VERDE ISLANDS. THIS SYSTEM HAS THE
POTENTIAL FOR DEVELOPMENT OVER THE NEXT DAY OR TWO AS IT MOVES
WESTWARD.


ELSEWHERE...TROPICAL STORM FORMATION IS NOT EXPECTED THROUGH
THURSDAY.
