DT is a "professional" weather forecaster...who has some rather strong opinions. He posts on a couple of other boards.

DT's world has been very good so far. he blew away the gfs yesterdaya nd as it turns out it had bad data and he has stuck to a sofla sotrm and that looks pretty on track now

No doubt, his thoughts are informative...but, on the other hand, he is so resistant to any criticism that sometimes it is hard to take him seriously.

That said, I tend to think that his forecast for Frances is better than the official...but this question was geared towards one of DT's "tropical cyclone rules".

Okay, I wasnt asking about him personally as much as the accuracy of any of the "rules" on the page I linked to. So are any of them worth following (or considering, even?)
