That the outflow interacting with Hispanola is causing this apparent weakening. Right now everyone in her path will take every friend they can find. :)

The last few frames on the Floater show that the outflow has actually grown wider then it has been. Looks like shes getting bigger IMO. Convection has flared up again too.

No. This is an eye wall replacement cycle that is taking place right now. She could come back stronger when this is all said done.

the strom was reorganizing which is very typical of intense tropical systems. Look for a well developed frances within 6-12 hours similiar to waht we saw yesterday afternoon.

Outflow is simply the waste of a hurricane. It makes absolutely no difference where the waste of the hurricane goes as far as health of the hurricane goes.
