ANOTHER TROPICAL WAVE IS LOCATED SEVERAL HUNDRED MILES
SOUTH-SOUTHEAST OF THE CAPE VERDE ISLANDS. THIS SYSTEM HAS THE
POTENTIAL FOR DEVELOPMENT OVER THE NEXT DAY OR TWO AS IT MOVES
WESTWARD.

This wave looks well organized right now and at a low latidud so I think it will be the next player down the road.

While looking at the GFS last night, there appeared to be 2 trop. systems headed this way, the first recurves back out to sea, and the other was basically where Frances was in 360 hours.

We don't want or need to see anything following Frances' path. :(

That's the wave that is rather unimpressive NW of the Cape Verde Islands.

No, we're talking about the one right off the coast of Africa. That one is for the feature just west of the Cape Verde Islands that has just encountered hostile conditions...

You're right. Maybe even as early as the 11pm update if current trends continue. It's a powerful little system...

Well, you can still see the two systems, nicely connected.
The upper one was the Ivan hopeful that looked good a day or so before, but now seems to be dormant. The lower one might develop pretty soon.

They seem to be pretty close, would have nicely interacted for sure. It can still happen, though. It would be amazing to see the left top component being swung to SW and the bottom one to N, contrary to what each would do on its own.
