Air Force Met,
So in layman's terms it is looking more and more likely that the forecast track will need to be adjusted farther south?

it doesn't take 100mph winds to lose your power, trees and signs. we lost all of that and more in eastern fort myers just from charley's tropical storm force bands with hurricane strength gusts.
needless to say a ft. lauderdale landfall for frances could / should provide an equal or worse storm for ft.myers residents than charley did.

good luck ... I'm leaving
well, best of luck to anyone who remains in the path of this thing. I'm from Jupiter, and am leaving on a previously scheduled trip to CT/MA for a wedding and family visit. The timing just stinks! Shutters up, and such, so all I can do is hope there's something to come home to.
I may be able to log on where I'm at and monitor things, but if not, again, be safe and good luck.

No offense man, but I hope that you're wrong. Because I am right in that area between the two.
