many of the models still show this thing hitting along the Carolina's coast line.

Everyone from Fl t oNC pray for one another.

I know..hurricane_lover..let it go. I'm in Jupiter, FL the center of projected landfall, we are going under hurrican warning. You've been saying world is flat for 3 days now. Just button it for now.

Covering all people I disagree with with that statement (forget the names of others, NCWeatherwiz was one).

I think the Carolina's are fairly safe at this point because Frances would have to start turning almost NNW to make an impact at this point. Since there is no sign of this happening nor any reason that it would, you may breathe a sigh of relief. Of course, still watch Franes and wish the best to those who will be dealing with it.

I swear, he must be watching the water vapor imagery in his crack pipe. Oh, hurricane_lover, how you do amuse thee.

You know there are Hurricanes that actually DONT go to the Carolinas. Hard to believe, but true.

You all are just getting bad. He didn't say it was definetely going to NC, he didn't even say there was a good chance, he just said don't let your guard down because a couple of the models still bring it there and anything can happen with a hurricane. Granted I think its going to go into Florida, but come on folks you're being plain rude right up to the point of flaming.

I don't see Frances getting near us at all, thankfully. This guy is just trying to press your buttons and apparently succeeding with some of you!

Good luck, Florida!

Oh all right. He's rather...consistent. In weather forecasting that's a compliment, right?

When are you going to wake up and realize this is NOT a Carolina storm? It's not even a North FL storm now(a direct hit anyway).

I'm not one to get upset, but just wanted to let you all know one of the Baltimore meteorologists is also calling for a SC landfall. I'm very surprised they aren't following the NHC forecast. My husband leaves on Sunday for for FEMA disaster debris training-how ironic!-so as interesting as this would be for us, it won't be if I'm home alone with 3 kids.

LOL!(Not laughing at you). One of the local mets around here is going with SC because of "Climatology". Time to get off that bandwagon. Everything this year has gone AGAINST that. Charley didn't favor it.

okay Lover right now is not the time to take the focus off the pending landfall in FL. These people are stressed. I guarantee you. And if they could reach out and touch you they probably would...and it wouldn't be hugs. Leave it alone. Don't be a troll. And if your call is right don't be a smartass. Fl residents have to prepare and fast. Just think about how you would feel if someone saw your post in SFL and stopped prepping, only to get slammed by a strong CAT4 !!!!

Have some compassion. We all need too!!! America's worse natural disaster is looming on the horizon I'm afraid.
