Does not looking good for Miami right now.

I know it still a long way from Miami but I was just looking
at the latest satellite floater loop. It sure "looks" like FRances
has Miami written all over her. She continues to barrel steadily
on a wnw course. I hope something changes very soon.

She's tracking a little east of Miami right now, but it wouldn't take a very significant jog to the west for Miami to be in the bullseye.

Just an interesting observation...One of the local mets on Channel 6 in Miami said that "a more WNW motion is better for Miami"... I just saw an interview with DR. Devens (NHC) and he said that a WNW track is very bad for Miami...direct hit.

WNW is too general of a direction, if they were using 285, 290, 295 etc it would be better. WNW could be any one of those.

I don't know about that Derek but I'm hoping BIG TIME you're right. Not that I'm wishing it on Palm Beach or anywhere else. Thanks for your post
and I hope you're prepared just in case.

I'm sorry, I don't mean any harm to anyone, but I hope he's right about Miami being OK.

I've just extrapolated the track and it yields WPB. Miami is at 25.8N, not the 26.5 garbage that was floated around earlier. Thats closer to N Lauderdale and Pampano Beach
