Was watching TWC this morning getting dressed and they reported that Home Depot had a large stockpile of plywood in some warehouse in Florida, but they were waiting to ship it to the stores until they knew where the storm was going. If you have not boarded up your house yet, and can not find plywood, might be worth a couple calls to Home Depot to see if they have gotten any more in.

Lots of people didn't board up here for Charley since it was basically a west coast storm. Bear in mind that we here in SE FL really haven't had a storm coming our way since '99. I've lived in my current condo since 2000, and never had to board up until this year. A lot of people haven't had to purchase it until now. Additionally, some stores' supplies are depleted because of sending a lot of stuff to the west coast for Charley victims.

We've honestly never really had a major threat. Nobody boarded for Charley down here because they told us tampa and Jacksonville. We still have 4 sheets of plywood from Floyd, but hardly enoguh to make this house safe. I think Wyatt Earp is knocking and its time to get the heck outta DODGE!!!!
