More example why the north turn will be delayed by a couple of days. She can't go too far north for long, maybe a West movemnt is coming soon.

Unless it bends back West, i think it looks like landfall North of Palm Beach.

rtd2, yeah I'm second gusessing myself that I wasn't south enough. I am pretty dang confident she'll get back into the GOM for a time, there will be 2 landfalls.

It looks like your latest track puts Tampa on the dreaded NE quad, which is concerning since they were supposed to be hit head-on by Charley and barely got a breeze. There may be some complacency and frustration after all the preps and evacs made before.

Brad - don't like your forecast path, but I do agree with it for the most part - basically what I've thought from day 1 :eek:
