This is 13 hours. She can always turn back west but this will at least cause a slight shift up the coast. One other thing, I've been reluctant to even raise this issue but has anyone ever heard of "busting the ridge"? The ridge is there to the north but very elongated it seems. Right now FRANCES is driving right into it. Thoughts ?? I'm still thinking FL but just a bit further north than present NHC track btw.

She is already east of where the NHC forecasted she would be at this time...not by much, but the trend definitely appears to the NW.

not good for Melbourne and the Space Coast...although I think she will turn west before landfall

Please do not take two or three frame to be a track change especially on the floaters.

the models do not turn this back to the west until it hits 27 north anyways

Due to extreme network traffic, we have scaled down these loops to reduce bandwidth.
If the images in the loop appear to be old, hit the "Refresh" button for the latest images! This may be why they are seeing this :wink:
