FLOYD, FRANCES, and evacuations

if the whole east coast of florida is once again evacuated for a cane that
misses well east will cane warnings be taken seriously in the future?

People can be stupid when it comes to evacuations. TPC has always said that things can change. And anyone who has lived on the coast knows that a cane can change its mind (so to speak). They don't care were you predict for them to go. But then I forgot most people on the living on the coast know knows nothing about canes. Maybe the west coast of FL could help remind them.
