Now is this thing forcasted to to loose strength? It looks like once again she is getting he act together and with all that warm water ahead what do I not see.

No, it is not forecasted to lose strength. It is forecast to gain strength, but not much. Look for sustained winds to be at 140 mph when Frances makes landfall.

I wouldn't bet on it losing strength before landfall. The CAT 2 at landfall may be point at the loss of wind speed once it's overland and not so much before landfall.

The NHC expects it to be a Cat 4 at landfall. They said so in the 5pm discussion. I think best case would be a Strong 3 right now.

radio in orlndo are now say cat 2 a land fall :roll: :roll: :roll: I guess they may have got some misleading info....

Nobody seems to be able to have a handle on anything with this hurricane.So much for 21st century meteorology :roll:

I agree, this seems to me to be the most unpredictable hurricane I have experienced.
