I have already seen it... we will see... we need at least a couple hrs of mvmnt west before saying it is not a wobble, but you may be correct.

It's approaching 4 hours now ... kinda long for a wobble.

OTOH, the NW trend earlier was over 12 hours ...

Bottom line, she's gonna do whatever she wants. :-/

They had MAX MAYFIELD just on saying that the one jet they have is flying around the clock measuring the strength of that ridge...its getting a little hairy!

Frances has never moved due West for longer than 2 hours in its entire history.

I've frankly given up on satellite hallucinating people I disagree with to whom every west movement is real and every N of W movement is a wobble.

Knock yourselves out.

Thats a silly remark from someone like yourself whos been here along time! yes I've chanted west all day but I havent posted on every wobble just what i thought it would do! and thats not wishcating!.... most know I didnt mean due west but thats possible just alot ...alot more west that its been all day. I wont give up!

It doesn't have to move *due* West, Derecho.

280-285, which Frances enjoyed for long periods of time, is all that's needed to bring this into Miami, instead of the Crack-u-weather "high-worry" zone further north.

You won't give up? What is this, a sports competition?

The storm will do what it do. You will say what you say. The two aren't connected. Trying harder won't make the storm do anything different.

Thar she blow, northwest, not west, and she be a hurricane, not a white whale.
