The eye is emerging again!

I guess its only a matter of time before she gets her act together. Definitly a large explosion of cold cloud tops in her center in the last few frames. The water vapor loops is showing the beginnings of her eye.

The Cdo is becoming more compacted over the last few hours. In yes expect the eye to show in become better developed. Once that under cutting/shear dies down expect a cat4.

it looks a little more visible on this satellite image. If the hurricane's eye just went over the center of that island to its SE then she can ONLY be moving NW at the moment. Anyone disagree?

Despite what some around here may believe, it's OK to trust your eyes now and then, tampa  In the 11 pm NHC discussion, Stacy Stewart made note of an improving satellite presentation indicating that it was probably only a "temporary weakening phase".

Look to the west, in the GOM..... that through is what I have bee ntrying to tell you guys to watch. It, along with this storm slowing down, will combine to push it up the coast and make it a Carolina's event.
