NHC Will Shift Track to the Right

#1 Postby MWatkins » Thu Sep 02, 2004 11:49 pm

I honestly don't think it will matter much that the UKMET and GFDL haven't finished yet...based on the latest guidance I would bet you $1,000 that the TPC/NHC will shift the track to the right and bring the future track closer to the EC...then north over time.

However...a .5 degree wobble from the expected new track means trouble for somebody.

Did I mention TD9 will be approaching the caribbean in 5 days?

Now...seriously...bed time.

Not to scare anyone, but the 18Z GFDL takes TD9 to 130+ kt in 3-4 days....The NHC will likely up the speed if that trend continues.
