At this time there is NOT one (1) model that takes this any further north than 28.5 before landfall in Florida. Even if the North turn that some are expecting occurs it will end ubruptly in about 60 hours in response to and Amplifiying Ridge. The Ridge Amplifies because of a digging trough in the Central CONUS.

Do you have to be so rude? You are entitled to your opinion but as far as I have been able to determine you have no more meteorological education or background than anyone on this board and significantly less than several.
Offer your opinion, go ahead. But please stop acting like this. This hurricane is still far too serious a situation.

sorry yoda... it's just that since his very first post in wednesday, hurricane_lover has continued to state his carolina move dozens of times with none of the factual data that our more respectable types include in their predictions. is that baiting? maybe not, but it would be nice if they could back up their bold predictions with more than one liners.

Hurricane-Lover could you please explain your reasoning behind thinking it will come up North (or if you did already link to the post). Although I am still thinking it is going into Florida, I am alway open to other peoples views if there is reason to them. Never know, maybe I am missing something that you are seeing.
