Frances will not strike FL,GA,SC,or NC

#1 Postby Stormcenter » Fri Sep 03, 2004 10:35 am

Frances will not strike FL,GA,SC, or NC.
Instead it will stall and veer wsw missing FL.
but entering the GOM until she stalls in the SE GOM. Then she
will head NNW for the MS/AL border.

I just thought I start one these threads since things
seem to have slowed a bit on this board since
Frances weakend and slowed her motion.
I really don't think that will happen. At least I
hope it won't, nah it couldn't right?

LOL Can't see that for Frances but wonder if the GOM won't get a visit from Ivan down the road.

Lol. Let me try. Frances will veer to the N, go to the FL border, turn WSW, hit Daytona, turn SW, go through Lake O, then turn west and hit Tampa. Then it emerges in the GOM  .

Actually, if you look at the latest sat. images it appears that Frances is breaking up into 2 separate hurricanes. One of them looks to be headed for the GOM, the other appears to be tracking towards Maine.

Ooooo - lemme try one -

Let's see....I think Frances will make a sharp left (without her signal of course), pass through Miami, then a sharp right and just go through the middle of the state, then a sharp left through Tampa, and out to the GOM....and because she's a woman, she'll be on the phone, doing her make-up, changing lanes, and not using her signal through all this ROFL

LMAO!!!

I think we should all consider the implications to Buffalo when she crosses Lake Erie, stalls, and hits western New York with 180 MPH winds.

No we won't. They're all in the Carolinas boarding up for the impending hurricane.

Frances will be pulled over by the Florida Highway Patrol for moving too slowly.

Agreed. With all the hot air eminating from Washington right now, conditions are very favorable for explosive development.

How about this....She decides to do a loop by scouring up the coast of east florida, loops around, gathers strength and scours the WEST coast of florida on the next pass

Unfortunately from the sound of the highways in Florida right now Francis would be pulled over for unsafe speed.

But that's hot dry air - hey, maybe that's what is causing the shear!
