Thanks for input - J - I think the main thing is the price - I can think of so many other things to use the money for - when contacts work for me right now. I am 40 and I'll probably have to get biofocals this year - so thats something I'm not looking forward too. LOL ROFL - old age sucks.

Hang in there J.

What is so hilarious is last week I had to use a magnifying glass here at work - had to use a report that was in 8 pt font or smaller - arrrghh - my co-workers and boss had a good laugh with that one.

I can beat that. I have an industrial size magnifier on a pedestal with 3 axis of movement, complete with flourescent light.

I have had glasses since 7th grade...which has been 7 years or so. I tried contacts but my eyes are too sensitive for them. I actually think I look better in glasses anyways. ;)

I used to wear both, but not anymore. I had laser surgery about 3 years ago. Now my vision is crystal clear.

ticka... I felt the same way. But now I am glad I did it.

My health insurance paid for it actually. I was in a bad car accident that damaged my vision. I only had to pay 100 dollars per eye. Never saw an actual full bill on the cost.
