Looks west to me.

This is the general tropical discussion area. Anyone can take their shot at predicting a storms path.

Looks west to me.

Looks west to me at moment.
If this pans out then Miami will
be for some rough weather.

Wobble - probably.

If it keeps on for at least four hours, I might start to think different.

It might have wobbled west but it certainly isn't going anywhere fast.

This morning, on one of our local stations, the news readers and the AM meteorologist were practically giddy and doing high fives and saying the storm was near our latitude so things were looking good for South Florida. Could this be the east coast version of Charley?

Look at Frances entire cloud mass and you can easily see it is ALL
drifting westward. The northward movement has ceased.

This is NOT good.

I think it is moving west, and it is a monstrous storm in size. If it does restrengthen to anything above a 3 than look out.

Well, there's some reason hurricane warnings still extend down to Florida City. It's very unlikely at this point, but not imposssible.

My only issue with this post is that it's yet another wobble-watch thread.

Not a wobble. As I said before look at the entire
system a whole and you can see the west motion of the
entire system.

Just heard Rappaport from the NHC on CNN. He said that it appears that the shearing from the west has died down.

More proof

Now I'm NOT saying this is permanent all I'm
saying that the moment she is drifting in a
westerly course it's not a wobble IMO.
