Not to mention, torrential rains are definitely possible.
I wouldn't call a 100 mph hurricane "weak."

959 mb = 28.32 inches. That's still pretty low for "everyday" occurrences. People started getting excited when Charley dropped into 969 mb.
Also, look at the last two 700 mb flight levels...

After cooling my jets after endless hours of analyzing Frances, I must say I was wrong earlier when I wrote her off.
She certainly still has a chance, and should be taken seriously until she's gone. Stay safe down there!
