if we kieep electricity through this first band, I will let everyone know how it was. If we lose electricity, I will have to turn off the comp to conserve batetry power as I am forced to try and do everything on my laptop via a dial-up (and I only have 90-120 mins of battery power)

Have you seen the latest satellite and radar images. She doesn't
seem to be moving much at all.

It will be interesting to see if Miami is the same distance from landfall that Punta Gorda was from Tampa. So much grumbling came after Charley about people not evacuating down south despite being IN THE CONE. Is Miami really that much farther away?
