Boynton Beach Update

#1 Postby jabber » Fri Sep 03, 2004 3:36 pm

4:00pm

First real feeder band came. Winds around 30mph or so. Still have power. Already standing puddles in the yard. Heard some thunder. I will update this post with more reports to come as long as I have power and my 90 minute backup power. Take care all

That band knocked out our power here in one little section of Delray. Obviously, it's up now, but it was a learning experience. I'm still surprised they came out to fix it.

6:05 Update

The whole community is walking around talking with each other. kinda nice. Its breezy, but very nice out...... I would like to say 'what Hurricane' I just heard on the TV channel 3 that the system might slow down and strengthen and hit Palm Beach.. This was just on the local channel 3 station.
