Let's stay on subject

We're getting too many frivolous threads being started. We have a serious situation and we need to conserve the server's resources for important threads and information. I hate to be a kill joy but now is not the time for this. The Mods will be locking and/or deleing these threads. Your cooperation is appreciated

Maybe what we need is more Sticky's.

Like "All 11am Frances Discussions Here" or "All Ivan -removed- Here"
Then delete any posts that duplicate what the Sticky has.

If you guys are sincere about conserving bandwidth, then we need about 50 locks on this board.

That's an idea TLHR, however, most people dislike "too many stickies."

Yah, that is a good idea. There are too many threads here concerning some of the same subjects. I try to keep my comments concerning a subject in the thread pertaining to it, but I can come back to the board 2 hours later and the thread will be buried on page 2 or 3. That has to eat up a lot of bandwidth.
