11 Oclock

#1 Postby jagesq » Fri Sep 03, 2004 8:33 pm

11 oclock is going to be very very very interesting. With this virtual standstill it seems to me like the cone of probability will open back up. It seems like nobody including the mets have any idea what she'll do. IMO, and my opinion is virtually worthless, most models didnt forsee this total stall, and therefore the models can't be trusted so much.

A few questions for the mets:

What are the chances that this storm can fizzle out in the Bahamas?

If the high to the south is that strong, and the high to the North is equally strong, will she just sit there for a few more days waiting for one of them to break?

Even after all the build-up, heartache and pain...
The thought of her dying there is interesting.
Anyone with data?

I'm barely able to keep my eyes open, but trying to wait for Stewart's discussion!

do you mean that GFS predicted the stall or that she would fizzle out?

I remember reading about it on this board....

followed by " GPS STALLS IT OFF THE COAST OF WEST PALM!!! THROW THIS MODEL OUT!!!" "ITS ON CRACK"
etc.
