They just got out.

Pretty much means it's holding the same intensity. The SW quadrant typically has the lowest winds anyway. Pressure is the same as earlier.

No Changes really..

I dont understand why the MAX FLIGHT LEVEL WIN was like 68knots would be less than hurricane strength at the surface :?: :?:

Pressure is the same.

Maybe 960 is the top-off to this trend?

Because the storm is sheared from the SW. The return wind side (west side of the hurricane) is distorted because of this shear, pushing the whole storm off-center. This is why the east side is so full and the west side is blown dry by shear. What happens is the storm makes up for it by swinging faster on the NE side like a roller coaster going to the bottom of a loop. The west side, where the measurement was taken, was the top of the loop where the rollercoaster slows down as it peaks at its point of least inertia.

If the hunter went further out into the NE side he probably would have found 107 knot or more somewhere in there...

960mb in the SW quad by the high pressure system though... what would that mean for the stronger NE quad?

thanks but....

I can't take credit for the quick translation.... a computer programmer that posts on CFHC attached a program online that you can down load... it automatically translates the vortex for you... even has a link for you to get the most up to date vortex message.... its cool... all you do is cut and paste ...... and poof... .your translation is there...

unfortunately the site has been down the past several hours or I'd try to get you the exact post so you could download it....
