Sorry I Just Dont See It!!!!!
I can not see frances going across florida and exiting into gulf. she is moving at 6 mph and there is a front that is moving to the east. The front is not at north Georgia in a straight line to the south west threw alabama and mississippi. I know that the front has got to be moving faster that frances so by the time frances gets inland florida the front should meet up with frances while she is still inland therefore the front should lift her to the north taking her threw the entire state of florida and then into georgia and south carolina. You guys can not tell me that You Do Not See that line of clouds coming down alabama and mississipp.

the front is def. there, aND I see your point, my question would be when does the front grab all of that moisture and obviously intensify the moisture and send it where? Where will the flooding rains occur inland.Timing is the big key, GA SC and eventually NC could feel the real wrath of francis due to this front grabbing it and taking flooding rains into these areas west to east.

Surely you jest....
You're attempt at sarcasm fails. No one isn't saying that after this thing makes landfall the remnants can't/wouldn't go up the coast and affect, Ga, SC, and NC. But if that happened it wouldn't mean NC got a direct hit as you have been saying for the past few days.
You got pissed at people for flaming you over these last few days so honestly in my opinion the last thing you'd want to do is try to be a smarty pants with comments like that as well. Two wrongs don't make a right. I'd think you wouldn't want to stoop down to the leve of those who have made you angry on this board. But then again they do say if you can't beat 'em join 'em.

Excuse me I did not say this was a south carolina event you need to read the post more clearly. I repeat for those who are too hard headed or those who can not understand plain english. I said i do not see Frances going into florida and exiting into gulf, yes it will hit florida but from the looks of the front that is to the west that is moving west and south, which currently starts at north western georgia and continues to south western alabama, it looks like the front will meet frances while she is inland florida and drag her along with it norhtward threw florida and georgia and possibly south carolina. I never said it would not hit florida. i just do not see it exiting florida to the west i see it exiting to the north threw georgia as a depression combined with the front

What you have to understand is when a front/trough is digging down the CONUS their will be a high to its right and left. AS the front diggs it amplifies (makes stronger) the high pressure, so this will drive a cyclone west or northwest, then as the trough continues to dig it will erode the high and allow for a more polewerd motion. The front over the gulf will weaken and get drawn up into the diigging central CONUS trough.

Listen I really am not up for a flame war on a wx message board. Does seem funny. I wasn't attacking hurricane_lover in that particular post but I did read a hint of sarcasm in his post and while I understand him being angry at what's been thrown his way I just though I'd give him a little friendly heads up advice that he should make sure not to stoop to the level of those who he claims he's soo mad at right now. Again two wrongs don't make a right.
And I won't say he's wrong b/c the storm hasn't hit land yet though in my opinion I still don't think a direct NC landfall is likely. I've been saying as far north as s-ern Ga and maybe extreme s-ern SC but concerning landfall I still think this is a FL storm. Probably not se-ern FL landfall but a FL landfall none the less.
