I'm looking at KAXM loop I've been recording in GRW88Level3 and there are feeder bands *spawning* on the southwest side, and growing. Also, the "center" is starting to look like a ring, and the hole is filling in a bit.

From the looks of Base Reflectivity 248nm, shes organizing and getting more favorable to grow... at least a little.

Its a computer program I downloaded as per advice of another thread, and I cant upload the loop. I'll find it on noaa.gov, but it wont be the same because I am smoothing it a little.

My loop is hours long tho, and has 5 minute frames. This program is excellent for radar.

Chris...I am from melbourne...evac to Tampa....this hotel doesn't even have the weather channel...whats the deal? Do you see this storm intensifying again? If it stayed a high 2, what would the wind damge be in Melbourne if she came ashore in Ft. Pierce......and how aboutt the flooding in Melbourne. Never experiences a hurricane!

I also see the "blobs" over the gulf stream intensifying on radar, can anyone confirm. Look west of Palm Beach county.

I'm not an expert, but I would guess that moisture would feed into the storm and help her back on her feet.

Am I wrong?

It doesnt look to bad.. I've been driving around in the bands and its windy.... but the rain is going to be the problem. TORRENTIAL RAINS even now in the bands.

We should be ok unless this thing pulls a Charley and gets up to a strong 3/4 hurricane

I wish ya'll could see what I am seeing. Download the program... it's rather compelling. I definitely say she's organizing... but I don't know if I'll say she is strengthening yet.

Check out the interaction with land on the NE side, but could just be eye dynamics.
