Band 'o' rama

#1 Postby MWatkins » Fri Sep 03, 2004 11:51 pm

South Florida...especially folks from Palm Beach south...can expect to get hammered by band after band overnight.

Latest long range radar from MFL shows a yet another good series of bands moving in from the east.

I must caution that although the inner core is still not well-organized...strengthening back to at least category three status is still possible overnight. I hope that everyone in the warning area has made sufficent preparations.

While you are scaring me to death, I really thank you for sharing that. We're already feeling some "bands" I think. So again, thank you. I've followed many of your posts here the last few days and you do a great job.

First robust band wave descending on us from NE. Should be here in an hour.

Wind has noticeably picked up here on Florida west coast.

Got to get some sleep so I can see this thing actually appear on radar tomorrow...
