Where in Ft. Lauderdale? I'm .706 of a mile from the beach on Commercial. Haven't seen anything close to 50 to 60 yet. Haven't heard any transformers blow yet. They look awesome at night when they explode - deep purple and blue explosions. I'll never forget that during Andrew. They just kept exploding - one after another. It's a surreal and ominous experience when combined with the howling wind.

Jlauderdal:

Cna you provide any info on the Pompano Pier--We've gotten varying reports on the board. I think you're near the beach in Lauderdale and may be able to see that way?

Or maybe seen something on local news?

Thanks
