Here in Port Charlotte the sky to the S.E. is getting darker and darker and the wind has picked up. Guess "our share" of Frances is on her way. :(

That is probebly just a thin band coming through. You'll have clear blue skies after it passes :-)

I was just outside...

In Fort Lauderdale. The rain was hitting me like BBs and there's all types of palm fronds and small branches blowing down the street from due west. The old wooden fence in the back yard blew over, but otherwise nothing significant to report. I guess some of the gusts were over 70mph, closer to 40ish sustained... but it seems to be picking up fast.

...In Key Largo. A stormy looking day, breezy, only leaves blown down so far. Winds about 18 gusts to 30. Very little rain. Many of the bands that spun off missed us and others have developed farther south/west, so it looks on radar like the Middle-Lower Keys and Key West have gotten pounded by some squal lines. Key West is sunny right now.

They are giving some awesome 3D radar views of the entire state on NB6 in Miami.

In Central Fla

Starting to get a little breezy again, was nice and sunny for a while. We have only had one rain fall, lasted about 5 min. Really neat to watch the clouds rotate!
