...and steer Frances w/wnw into Florida, then the GOM.

The way I see it, the very dry air in the midwest will be ridging up over and to the north of Frances, in the next few days. Thus the models indicating a GOM entry and secondary landfall, some where along the NGC area, from Mobile, eastward to Panama City.

I think that is the most frightening image of the hurricane I've seen. Its massive, and looks to be getting more organized and stronger.
