looks like an eyewall if finally forming...eye appears to be breaking through...the storm is stationary over the gulf stream....shear has lessened and this all could = rapid development...we shall see

with the strong cold convection the last 24 hours and subsequent sheer blowing the cirrus over it would appear that way on satellite.

i think this is just a result of the lack of impressive CDO at this point.
