Guess where the eye is?

Click on this link and you will know! It is the bouy at the West end of Grand Bahama Island.

http://www.ndbc.noaa.gov/station_page.php?station=SPGF1

It also gives you an idea of how long some can expect to see strong wind conditions besides torrential rains.

There is no hunt involved. If you click on the url it takes you to the data from the bouy. Besides that I stated it is the bouy at the West end of Grand Bahama Island. With the wind shift shown by the data and the dramatic drop in winds and the very low pressure shown by the data it is obvious where the eye is.

Hope she speeds up. 24 - 36 hours of tropical storm force winds increaing to hurricane strength with washed out tree roots will really bring down the trees.

It could be a very messy situation even if the winds aren't sustained above hurricane force for long periods of time due to the saturated conditons and enough wind to bring down trees in that situation. A speed up in forward speed would definitely help the situation. doesn't appear likely at this time though since steering currents are still weak in the area.
