Why isn't the pressure dropping?

If the storm is stationary and spinning and getting better organized, what is preventing the wind speed from picking up and the pressure dropping?

Maybe a stuipid question, but i am a rookie and would like to know.

Maybe once.....or "if" the eyewall closes off. There is a bit of dryer air just to the NNW of the eye though. Maybe that's inhibiting her from intensifying for now?

Poor organization of storm (lack of real eye)
