Not sure if this is "Off Topic" or not, if so, I apologize.
Would it be beneficial if structures built in hurricane prone areas were built with dome roofes? Watching the winds going through Fl it appears as if the winds get under edges and begin to lift. I would think the more round or spherical a surface is, the impact of the winds would be better distributed.
I'm thinking out loud here, sorry if it doesn't make sense.
