Sat Afternoon with Frances

#1 Postby BocaGirl » Sat Sep 04, 2004 2:31 pm

Steady rain, although not torrential. Wind with gusts that top out at 85 mph or so. Trees uprooted and snapped like matchsticks. No apparent rhyme or reason which trees stay and which trees go. Power outages. Cable tv gone. Pets completely freaked. Small children (and grown up children) turning into whining monsters.

Ugh. Will this ever be over?
