That's okay if you also want to experience an 8.0 earthquake, an airliner flying into your office building, and a 200 ft tsunami.<P>Definitely exciting. TV pictures don't do those events justice.<P>Being upset that you don't get to experience them is a somewhat different matter. Disasters have consequences long after the thrill of experiencing them is gone.

I agree with what you siad Cape Verde, but you can't prepare for the things you mentioned. You can prepare for the weather.
