Democratic presidential candidate calls for end of war

#1 Postby cycloneye » Tue Apr 01, 2003 7:04 pm

http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/ar ... 3Apr1.html

But this is only one of the many candidates they have running but do the other candidates think the same is the question but I can say that the reverend Al Sharpton will say the same thing.

What is your opinions about what this person said in the house floor?

Never heard of the guy.

He didn't come up with a good case as to why we should stop the war. Per the article, it sounds as if he was just ranting. It has been reported about Al Qaeda supporters meeting with people in Iraq and most recently the pictures of the airplane striking buildings that all but stated it was of the 9/11 tragedy. Though it is not 100% certain (in my eyes) that there is a relationship between Iraq and Al Qaeda, the reports and stories abound to suggest strongly that there is one. That can't be ignored.

Al Sharpton is predictable. Why would the Democratic Party humiliate themselves with the likes of Al Sharpton? It is too funny. I hope they have other hopefuls.

How can this guy say that Iraq and Al Quaeda are not connected. Mohammad Atta was seen meeting with Iraqi Intelligence right before Sept. 11th. We have seen Al Quaeda surface in the war with Iraq as well fighting along side the Republican Guard. It is obvious he is anti war, but before he takes the floor he needs to back that mouth up with some facts!Or else he needs to go to New York and join the anti war anti bush anti American protestors there.
