Power in Melbourne

does anyone have any info on the power outages in Melbourne? I am over here in Tampa and would appreciate any info

Probably out based on CNN live reports from Anderson Cooper around 1 AM, there were transformer blowing out all over the place.

They were in Melbourne

thanks....our hotel doesn't even have the weather channel and we are getting Tampa preps for the storm...but not much from the coast

From what I've seen out of Orlando TV stations Melbourne has had its share of weather.

Wind is picking up in Lakeland, with some transformers lighting up, so get ready in tampa.

Best part of still having electricity has been being able to watch the many reports from the east coast.

He may be sheltering in Tampa, and lives in Melbourne, judging from his curiosity into the issue.
