I am in northwestern hillsborough and this thing is crawling along and driving my mother batty. She hates being cooped up.

Still fine in NE St Pete, no power outages yet! Getting really antsy though! Very tired of this storm!

South St Petersburg here. Just some breezy conditions here but it's going to be an interesting day for sure. The worst will be here after dark from the looks of the track.

I am in NE St Petersburg, have been lurking here for the last week. I'm quite tired of Frances, another day of this is going to wreck my nerves. I'm mostly worried about my parents house, they are in area called Shore Acres & I keep hearing about a 2-4 ft storm surge. I hope that is not bad enough to repeat the last Labor Day weekend hurricane we had.

I am in NW Tampa-Carrollwood and in the past 15 minutes we have had the most sustained winds and rain today. Radar indicates that this band is the one reaching all the way back toward Ocala. I have had several calls to me regarding power outages in Carrollwod, but my power has been fine. Having been through Hurricane Donna, Alma, and endured Elena, this is not too bad.
