Have some initial damage assessment. Every major roadway is passable at this time. Lots of tree debris but they are still passable. Most neighborhoods are passable. If you live in these area's please stay inside. It is still too dangerous for you to be outside. Please wait for the all clear.

100 Florida National Guard Unit's are on their way here. Expect them at 1230 hrs.

75,000 w/o power.

NO REPORT OF INJURIES AT THIS TIME.

Minor structural damage to homes and businesses. Some trees down on houses.

Worst damage appears to be to the City of Stuart Maintenance Garage Complex which is heavily damamged. Police Building lost one of the large AC units off the roof but no leaking yet. City Fire building lost about 15' of roof over there living quarters.

Our only mobil home park survived with only screen and awning damage.

If you live in Stuart, the distribution site for water, ice and bulk food will be at the Home Depot at Martin Square.

Jensen Beach is the Treasure Coast Mall.

Indiantown is the Thriftway.

Palm City is the Martin Memorial offices at the Village Center.

Hobe Sound is at the Publix.

Press conference has been postponed until 1500 hrs.

Will give you more as it comes in.
