Are we entering a period where Florida will be a frequent target of tropical cyclones?

Yeah... mabye..
We have only had a little over a hundred years of recorded time. There have been many reports and papers written on this topic, because many believe that we are entering a pattern like that of the 20's-50's where there was an increased chance of Fl landfall. This is because the Bremuda high generally positions itself to the west much more than average. Fl used to get hurricanes, especially in south fla. almost bi-yearly durring this period. It is believed we have re-entered this pattern in the early 90's and its is simply starting to pick up.
I don't have a link to the resources right now, mabye someone else could post it. Sorry I am not having a very good morning.
